Lisa and Lori Brigantino will be on “STILL Home for the Holidays” as Vickie and Nickie on December 12th.

Well-known and hilarious musical sibling duo Vickie & Nickie are back this holiday season with another free Facebook livestream of their new show, “ALWAYS at home for the holidays” with Vickie & Nickie on Sunday December 12 at 4 p.m. In this celebration of the holiday season “Minnesota-style” multi-instrumental housewives and singing sisters will keep you entertained from their cozy home with their favorite holiday tunes and original songs, their fun Trivia t-shirt and holiday ornament gift, and much more holiday stuff!
Created, written and performed by real sisters and SUNY alumni Fredonia Lisa and Lori Brigantino, the fast-talking Midwestern moms will get you into the holiday spirit while playing along to many different instruments including guitars acoustic and electric, a keyboard, an accordion, a saxophone, ukuleles, percussion and more!
The Brigantino sisters have put on a number of Vickie and Nickie shows that have garnered rave reviews: Broadwayword.com’s Jenna Esposito said: “The talented Brigantino sisters put on a show like no other – their characters are complete, well-rounded and immensely entertaining, and their musical talent is undeniable!”
Downtown Express says “The kitsch duo are not just funny character comedians, but very talented musicians, each of them using many different instruments during a set.”
And John Sobel of Blogcritics.com concludes, “Vickie and Nickie, (are) two busy Midwestern moms who take the stage to delight and entertain with humorous jokes (plentiful), multi-instrument musical talent (considerable) and great personalities (wickedly twisted, hopefully. family fun). â€
The Creative Sisters have written and performed over 10 feature films “Vickie and Nickie” shows to date, including sold-out performances of their vacation shows at the Duplex, Don’t Tell Mama, Dixon Place and other venues in New York City, as well as several regional theatrical performances at the Foothills Performing Arts Center in Oneonta.
Additionally, Vickie and Nickie have made appearances on numerous variety and comedy shows in New York City including: Sundays at Seven Comedy Night at the Irish Arts Center, Kim David Smith’s Vauxhall Kabarett in Vlada, Danny Leary’s Variety Extravaganza at Comix, The Talent Show Branded variety show at the Gershwin Hotel, listen to this at 92nd St. Y / Tribeca, The Cocktail Show by Becky Donohue and Danny Leary at Don’t Tell Mama and Glamor Bash at Rocha Dance Theater in the Galapagos in DUMBO.

Lisa and Lori Brigantino have been performing together musically since their childhood. Lori (Vickie) is an actress, singer and multi-instrumentalist. Her acting credits include The Last Nickel at the NYC International Fringe Festival, Trials & Fibs Off Broadway at the Soho Playhouse, and several Off-Off Broadway plays and independent films. Lisa (Nickie) is an award-winning singer-songwriter, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. The sisters regularly perform Lisa’s original songs at regional clubs, cafes, concerts and festivals. Lisa was an original member of Led Zeppelin’s All Girl Tribute group, Lez Zeppelin (bass, keyboards, mandolin), and has toured internationally with the group. She left the group in 2009 to focus on her own original music.
STILL Home for the Holidays with Vickie & Nickie is created, written and performed by Lisa Brigantino and Lori Brigantino and co-directed with Susan Haefner.
