Join donors to dedicate angels and honor someone special at the annual angels tree

CHARLOTTE, NC, Nov. 30, 2021 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) – Aldersgate announces the celebration of its annual Guardian Angels Tree Offering, which allows donors to dedicate a wooden angel ornament in honor of someone Special. The Angel Tree is a community fundraiser for the Guardian Angel Fund, which was created to give residents confidence during unexpected turns in life.

“If there’s one thing the residents of Aldersgate are known for, it’s bringing people together to celebrate friendship and make the world a better place,” said Karen Gipson, Advancement Manager for the mission. “The Guardian Angel Fund is just another expression of what happens when the community puts its energy into serving a cause. “

Residents will celebrate the season of giving on December 1, 2021 with the Aldersgate Tree Lighting Ceremony. Angels can be dedicated on your own behalf, on behalf of a loved one, or any special someone who embodies the spirit of the Guardian Angel Fund.

When a minimum contribution of $ 25 is made, a wooden angel is decorated with the name of the dedicatee and is placed on the large tree in the hall of the winter garden. A designated team of resident artists decorates each ornament by hand, taking great care in the design of each angel. The Angel Tree is a symbol of hope and friendship in the community, and a reminder of Aldersgate’s commitment to supporting its residents.

With the help of donors, the Guardian Angel Fund will continue to support residents who need a little help making ends meet while living in Aldersgate. Aldersgate’s status as a non-profit living plan community places the well-being of residents at the center of their work. Aldersgate residents enjoy the peace of mind that they can stay in Aldersgate if, through no fault of their own, they survive their resources. Supporting this fund allows you to be a “guardian angel” to residents experiencing financial hardship, allowing residents of Aldersgate to live with peace of mind and dignity.

Community members can donate by donating by check payable to Aldersgate Guardian Angel Fund, donating online at https://aldersgateliving.org/guardian-angel-fund/, or by calling (704) 318-2009.
