Hannah Kerr releases “Grave”

Even though Hannah Kerr’s “Same God” continues to climb the Christian charts, she has released a new song simply titled “Grave”.

As she shared on Instagram, “I love this song since the day I wrote it with @paultduncan and @rileyfriesen last year and I’m so thankful that she’s in the world ️ Paul is such a gifted lyricist and this song wouldn’t be what she is without him. “I don’t pay tax on a debt you forgave” was just a little something he started there. Like WHAT and Riley is so much more than ‘a simple producer; he’s so involved in the whole process – the lyrics, the melody and the track are as they are because Riley was a part of it. So grateful for both of them and for the way they lent their talent to this song. “

“Same God” is currently in the Top 30 and is climbing on Christian radio. It is written by Kerr, Emma Klein and Hunter Leath. Grammy-winning songwriter / producer Josh Kerr (“God Only Knows”) produced the single.

Kerr made his debut in 2016 with the release of “Overflow”. The album won him over 20 million streams and featured his Top 15 hit “Warrior”, as well as his version of Matt Maher’s Top 5 hit “Your Love Defends Me”. Co-written by Kerr, “Your Love Defends Me” propelled her to winning the Most Performed Song award at the 2018 ASCAP Christian Awards.
