It’s week three of high school football in Louisiana.

Here is an overview of the results of the matches of week 3 in the Houma region:

ED WHITE CATHOLIC 7, HYPOTHESIS 0: ED White junior Braxton Comeaux scored the only touchdown of the game on a 5-yard run with 5:44 left in the first quarter. Second-year running back ED White Jeffrey Dietrich led with 12 carries for 52 yards. Cardinals junior defensive end Nathan Johnson recorded a key sack in the second half.

ST. JAMES 41, LANDRY 26: St. James senior running back Daniel Jupiter, an Air Force Academy entry, finished with 12 carries for 80 yards and two touchdown passes in a 41-26 victory. He opened the game with a 45-yard kickoff return. St. James senior quarterback Marquell Bergeron threw two touchdowns at Kaden Williams and added a 15-yard strike to Shazz Preston. St. James defensive back Cyler Christmas had two interceptions. The match was played at the University of the South’s Mumford Stadium in Baton Rouge.

ISIDORE NEWMAN 28, CATHOLIC VANDEBILT 0: Five-star quarterback Isidore Newman Arch Manning completed 16 of 26 passes for 265 yards and three touchdowns against Vandebilt. Newman was leading 28-0 at halftime. He had five carries for 67 yards and a 1-yard touchdown run. Kameron Harris led Vandebilt with nine carries for 60 rushing yards.

MORGAN CITY 34, COVENANT CHRISTIAN ACADEMY 22: Brayden Buquet scored two touchdowns for Covenant Christian. JT Teuton scored a two-point conversion attempt and Zakyrus Gordon hit a touchdown.
