State star Jacob Gazzo, a front or center projection of Mccomb (Miss.) Parklane Academy is the only verbal commitment to the program in the recruiting class of 2023. The Clarion Ledger Dandy Dozen selection also plays baseball in high school.

Only a sophomore on the rise, Crawford’s recruiting could be about to take off despite still having two more years to play high school basketball. A highly talented dribbler and shot-maker, Crawford is a combined playmaker.

When he wants to shoot, Crawford can be quite difficult to defend. He’s still able to set up teammates for shots as well. Depending on his size when he signs his letter of intent in about 18 months, Crawford could also play two guards and be more of a scoring threat.
