Top basketball targets Royal and Booker face off at OSU camp

The stars were out in force for the first day of Ohio State’s men’s basketball program team camp at Schottenstein Center on Thursday.

Team camp allows high school teams to gather in one location and compete against each other. The showpiece match of the day was a clash of state champions as Pickerington Central took on Indianapolis Cathedral. The game also tied two of OSU’s top targets of 2023 in Forward Pick Central. Soothsayer Royal and Indy Cathedral ahead Xavier Booker.

Booker’s side took the win, although it should be noted that Pick Central were ahead when Royal suffered an ankle injury and had to leave the game.
